Nanno - Nannochloropsis occulata

Nanno is a small 1-3um green microalgae found in marine and brackish environments cultured as a high-density monoculture.

Uses:
The most common use of Nanno is in Aquaculture as live algal food for zooplankton such as Rotifers and for green water larval cultures for fish and invertebrates. It can also be used as a natural diet or dietary supplement for animals such as corals and other filter-feeding invertebrates. It is generally not suitable food for copepods which tend to require a more specialized diet.
