These are made to order and are sent weekly. Usually on Tuesday.

These are benthic (substrate dwelling) type copepods. These copepods are typically in the size range of 80um to 400um dependent upon the life stage.

This particular species also have planktonic (free-swimming) life stages so can be utilized by all types of organisms as a natural food source, not those that pick at rockwork, etc., or sift substrates. Copepods can be an essential part of your clean-up crew helping to clean up detritus and algae in marine environments.

USES:
Harpacticoid Copepod cultures can be used as a seeding culture for new tank setups or reseeding/restocking existing tanks' sumps after disturbance (moving, disease treatment, crashes, etc.).

They also can be used as a natural supplemental live feed for marine fish particularly fussy feeders such as mandarin gobies, sea horses, etc. as well as other plankton-eating fish or invertebrates.
