Rotifers - SS Type (Super small Strain -Brachionus rotund forms)
Rotifers are a small free-swimming type of zooplankton, typically in the size range of 50-1000um, that can be found in freshwater, brackish, and marine environments. SS-type rotifers are typically in the size range of 80-210um.
USES: Rotifers are typically used in Aquaculture, i.e., marine hatcheries, as live larval feed for a range of fish and invertebrates. However, they are consumed by a wide range of species, such as fish, shellfish, corals, etc., and as such can provide a natural food source for a wide variety of animals in marine aquariums.
These are made to order and are sent weekly, usually on Tuesdays.
Please note that any order made before Tuesday will be automatically shipped the following week; your order should be made on Monday evening to be able to ship the following Tuesday.
