The Pseudotropheus Demasoni, also known as the Demasoni Cichlid is a vibrant and eye-catching fish that brings a burst of colour and activity to the African cichlid aquarium. Their striking appearance, relatively small size, and lively nature make them a desirable addition to a Lake Malawi aquarium or similar setup. Keep in mind, however, that these fish can be more territorial and aggressive compared to most African cichlids so careful consideration of tankmates is essential.

Cool Colourful FastArived today, got 4 of the little guys, first order so got a few diffrent kinds, very happy, very colourful, cant wait till they grow into there full colours. get allong fine with other ciclids bigger and smaller.

Good community CichlidI just had 2 of these delivered this week and they are really pretty. Very rich blue colour once they had settled down from the interstate trip and get on well with all my other cichlids, no aggression at all all so far. Thanks for the safe delivery of fish again Livefish!

Great fishGot four of these 6 months ago from livefish, travelled well, took a few days to adjust to new tank, in with larger electric yellows, electric blues and peacocks. seem to hold there own. three of them have grown in size one still the same size and hides a lot. would recommend great addition to any cichlid tank

Little BanditsThese little guys are great. They all arrived alive and well in separate bags.
They are in a small 20l all in one tank about 50cm long. They lay in wait in the dence clump of Anubis in the center of the tank and come out to "Ambush" their food. Only other tankmates are a few Koolie loaches, who they mostly tolerate, only hassling them a bit at feeding time.
The bandits are mostly black and white ATM, but the larger of the 5 is starting to develop a tinge of blue. Highly recommend these fish for a species tank, they are a bit secretive though, but I do hope they breed !Posted on

Very Hardy and colourfulI have quite a few of these guys and they arrived good sized, great colouring and active. I keep them in a rather large show piece tank with a variety of other Cichlids, Guamis and sharks! Great community fish. Thanks again to livefish.

Breeding Already!I submitted a review when i bought these fish less than 12 months ago but can't help add this news! I didn't expect them to breed so soon! Without any special treatment on my behalf i see i now have one new baby Demasoni :) I think i may have had more if they weren't in with somewhat larger cichlids. VERY impressed and happy with these active little fish!!

Wonderfull colouring and entertaining.I purchased 4 of these guys 3 months ago. They were smallish but not far off the mark. I have 2 males and 2 females. They play all day and are great to watch. They come up for feeding and even take flakes out of my fingers. Very quick and dart around a lot. Very hardy fish. Can't wait to get more of these.
