Assorted L.T Mini Molly
Mollies are one of the most adaptable and beginner-friendly fish in the aquarium hobby. With countless colour variations and body shapes developed through selective breeding, they have become a staple species in community aquariums around the world. The Long Tail Mini Molly is a particularly attractive variation with flowing fins and a compact body size.
These mollies display a wide variety of colours depending on the breeding lines involved. Assorted groups may include shades of black, silver, orange, or marbled patterns. Their long, flowing tail and dorsal fin add an elegant appearance as they swim through the aquarium, while their smaller body size makes them suitable for community aquariums.
Mollies are livebearers and are very easy to breed in home aquariums. Males can be identified by the presence of a gonopodium, which is a modified anal fin used for reproduction. Females are larger and will give birth to live fry after a gestation period of approximately four weeks.
