Short Striped Penguin Tetra 3.5cm

Also know as the True Penguin Tetra. This is a peaceful little tetra that will ad some interesting colour to your tropical aquarium. They grow to 6-7cm and like slightly acid water. Penguin Tetras are a popular community fish with a distinctive swimming manner - usually positioned with their body tilted slightly upwards. An active, peaceful tetra, best kept in a school. All standard foods eagerly accepted. Tetras are omnivores and will accept most flake foods, but should also have some small foods such as brine shrimp, daphnia, freeze-dried bloodworms and micro pellet food to supplement their diet.
