Sera KH/pH-Plus
Carbonate hardness (KH) is one of the most important water parameters in an aquarium.
The majority of fish species kept in freshwater aquariums prefer relatively hard water. Furthermore, KH acts as a buffer that prevents dangerous pH fluctuations, including rapid drops in pH.
As a general rule, KH should be maintained at a minimum of 6 °dKH in all community aquariums, and considerably higher for special cases such as African cichlids. This helps keep fish healthy and makes the aquarium water more stable and easier to maintain.
Sera KH/pH-plus precisely and permanently raises KH to the desired level. The pH value is also gently raised and, above all, safely stabilised.
