Comet 5cm

Carassius Auratus
Rating:
89% of 100

Comet goldfish are usually the first fish an aquarist keeps when they enter this hobby. Goldfish make for a fantastic ornamental fish and have such a rich history that they carry. The comet style of goldfish was developed in America and is now recognised worldwide for its elongated body shape, long tail, and stunning colours.

    Wonderful service, first class product.
My only complaint is there should have been some information in with the order with regards to with what to do to get them established. I needed to refer back the website for instructions that were rather vague.
Other than that, very good all round.

  3. Ordered for a friend

Must be a Hardy breed, five comets in one bag and they spent four days in transit, and where still alive when they arrived a little off colour for a few hours but then they pick right up. Are now out on my friends farm in her cattle trough and loving all the room they have to swim around.

  5. Good choice of goldfish
    80%
I have had quite a few different types of goldfish but the comet seems to be hardier and less susceptible to white spot and other fungal growth than other types. I prefer to keep goldfish in an outside pond as they seem to thrive outdoors rather than in an aquarium. I alternate fish flakes with dried blood worms and their growth is accelerated.
