Red Neon Blue Eye 2.5cm
Red Neon Blue Eye
The Red Neon Blue Eye is a small but incredibly vibrant species that is perfect for nano and planted aquariums. Known for their bright eye colouration and active schooling behaviour, these fish bring constant movement and flashes of colour to the upper levels of the aquarium.
These fish display a slender translucent to pale body with subtle blue and silver tones. The standout feature is their vivid blue eye, often paired with flashes of red or orange in the fins, particularly in males. When kept in groups, they create a shimmering effect as they dart through the water, making them ideal for planted aquariums.
Sexing is possible, with males displaying brighter colours and slightly more developed finnage. They are egg scatterers and may breed in planted aquariums under the right conditions.
Tank Recommendations for your Red Neon Blue Eye
