Clown Peckoltia (Dekeyseria pulchra) L168 These pleco's are wild caught in the amazon basin in Columbia, and one of the very few allowable imports in this genus in Australia.
They prefer blackwater tanks, lower pH, soft water, so driftwoods and Indian almond leaves, and other botanicals make a great addition to your tank. A group of 5 or 6 should make for a great start for anyone trying to get a breeding colony going, along with a breeding cave.
There may be some variation in colour and pattern due to them being a wild-caught species.
