The Apistogramma veijita gold actually a captive-bred strain of the Apistogramma veijita. These fish carry the leucism gene which is very similar to the albino gene. The body colour is pure white with slight hints of pink and yellow which acts as a great contrast point for the fiery orange colours. The speckled orange patterning is present from the face to just past the pectoral fins. Much like other beloved apistogramma species these fish also have tall, pointed fins that look awesome when flared.
