Western Rainbow - Drysdale River - Melanotaenia Australis

Lost one on arrival and one an hour after being in tank.Unfortunately out of the 30 fish in total I lost two of my five Australis. I am in WA so a bit of time to be in transit. The other three are fantastic and I look forward to them colouring up.

cute fishThis fish is so cute, he took a while to colour up but that's rainbows for you. I do have a piece of advice for anyone looking at these fish - get them, them meaning more than one they are community fish. my first order i only got one, big mistake, he turned aggressive, so i got some more now i have a very happy family. Thank you LF

TOP SPECIMENExellecent fish top condition started feeding strait away.Can't wait for them to colour up. Very HAPPY :-)

Great fishI bought 6 of these and was happily surprised when they arrived in great condition .They began feeding within 20 minutes of hitting the tank and the males started displaying 10 minutes later. Like all rainbows the colours will take a little time to be at their best, but they are already showing lovely red tails.

australisVery healthy fish as always, this one was quite a large specimen. It does tend to chase the smaller rainbows around.
