Named after the South American big cat, the jaguar cichlid both reflect the big cat in behavior and colors. Jaguar cichlids have a very unique brown and dark green color with black patterning through the body.

anyways
the jaguar arrived very healthy but acted strange (due to the car ride im guessing) but now he is awsome! just like i expected GREAT colouring, GREAT personality, very aggressive as expected, bothers his bigger tank mates but it backfires lol but thats just what i wanted!

GoodArrived healthy, Oringally purchased two but recived one jag and a humphead instead, was credited for the mislabeled fish. The fish is thriving and growing very fast, but very aggressive.

Jaguar Cichlid Parachromis managuensisGot 2 healthy little jags, hope one is a male to go with my larger female. Great Fish but not happy sharing a tank. Have my big Female with a couple of bristlenose catfish and a striped loach as anything and everything else gets killed for the sake of killing. They make up for this with great personalities and looks when they get used to life in the tank. Great fish and great service. Thankyou.
