They should have plenty of places to hide which live rock excellent for. This will allow you to create shaded areas for them to hide in cracks and crevices if they feel threatened.

These fish will also like to bury themselves, so a sand substrate will is a good choice. They do this when they are scared and often when they sleep so that they feel safe.

As with many wrasses these fish do like to jump, so a well-fitting lid on your aquarium is also recommended.

Sometime Compatible

These Wrasses are usually fine with invertebrates unlike many wrasses but still keep an eye on them. They will be compatible with most fish as they are peaceful and so will generally get on okay with other fish.
