This pretty little tetra is almost unheard of in Australia. Being wild caught these are a very rare and sort after tetra for the keen hobbyist who is looking for another Bleeding Heart to ad to their collection.
Tetras are omnivores and will accept most flake foods, but should also have some small foods such as brine shrimp, daphnia, freeze-dried bloodworms and micro pellet food to supplement their diet.
