2x Mocca Clownfish 3cm
Please note one of the Clows has a damaged Gill plate. It's a only a minor birth defect and this fish will live a long happy life in your Aquarium.
The Mocha Clownfish stands out with its rich, deep colour. It is a hardy fish that's great for a reef environment and easy to maintain.
The Mocha Clownfish is a variation of the Black & White and Orange & White Ocellaris. Its body colour is a dark orange or caramel brown which is separated by 3 white bands. Each fish has its own unique pattern and colour that usually darkens as it matures.
These fish breed easily in an aquarium environment. A pair will usually stay close together and defend any eggs from tank mates. Spawning will occur on a flat surface in the tank and the eggs will hatch in 6-11 days. Once hatched, the fry should be moved to a separate tank. It is best to rear the fry on rotifers initially before progressing to baby brine shrimp.
This species originates from Fiji and Tonga, although they are also bred in captivity. In the wild, they inhabit shallow reefs and lagoons, usually staying near the bottom.
