White Cloud

White Cloud 3cm

Tanichthys Albonubes
Rating:
97% of 100

White clouds are by far one of the best beginner fish species, they are cheap, incredibly hardy, stay small, and are cold-water tolerant. They are arguably the best beginner fish to start with because of how easy they are to keep and one of the best fish for nanosystems as well. The surprising thing is that the white cloud is almost extinct in its wild range due to habitat loss for such a popular and widespread fish in the aquarium hobby. The aquarium hobby however is easily the sole reason this fish is so loved and can remain alive which is great.

  1. Interesting Fish

Fish received have little color and appear very young. Were definately not 3cm probably about 1cm. Am a little disappointed with the fish received however still remain hopeful they will grow to resemble the picture.

  2. Great for Beginners
    100%
Love the white cloud mountain minnows, they have been the easiest fish to take care of, perfect for beginners as they dont make much mess like goldfish, I have had my tank for 2 weeks and the water is still clear. They are cute and very active little things silvery bodies with a red point on its tail and a black dot at the base of its tail, fins have white tips, they look great in a well planted tank with gravel and heaps of hiding places, will keep you amused as they are quite funny to watch. Highly reccommend these fish to everyone

  3. Amazing Fish

These guys are very lively and have encouraged all my other fish to be livelier too. They are a great hardier alternative to neon tetras and will not be bothered by other fish ten times their size.
