Siamese Fighting Fish (Bettas) are anabantoids, which means they can breathe atmospheric air thanks to a unique organ called the labyrinth. This accounts for their ability to thrive in low-oxygen water conditions that would kill most other fish, such as rice paddies, slow-moving streams, drainage ditches, and large puddles.

Little cutiemy yellow betta arrived safe and healthy! he is such an active little guy the only reason im rating 4 stars is his colour very dull and he has small black dots on him , i was really looking forward to him being totally yellow with maybe some blue like the display picture shows? Im hopeing to see him brighten up alot in the next few days though but all in all hes such a happy little guy and im very happy! P.S. i had a problem with delivery as i was rung up and told he wouldent be deliverd to my house and i would need to go pick him up from the post transit (which was already closed for the day!!) so i was told id have to wait till the next morning and i was afraid he might not make it till then so i went there anyways and an afterhours worker let me take him then and there , Thank God!!

Beautiful coloured fish!He is a beautiful colour and still you which ie great so I know he will live for a long time. When he first arrived he was fairly skinny which made him weak and he couldn't swim properly. After a week or so he had fattened up and can swim fine. He has just breed with my female I ordered of livefish.com.

Yellow Betta!Arrived safe and sound and now into his new home. Fits in very well colour wise with the others that i have. Good to add to my collection again!!! He is a lot smaller than my other but will grow and brighten up!!!
